Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd then went on to win three fights over the course of a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated ended in less than a moment. After that she fought at WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was superior to Aspen who beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's records as an amateur were affected. Ladd returned from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to make her record 8-1. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta Fc 11, she took on Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in first round with a TKO. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move from Bantamweight to her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen was dominant McGill with her wrestling and eventually defeated her in the third round via TKO. Aspen had to face Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy using an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb), because Ladd didn't make an appearance at the weigh-in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and eventually defeated her via a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final event for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, taking on Lina Langsberg. She beat Lina via a fight that was a foot and pound victory during the 2nd Round. She came back to her winning ways and picked up a more impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round and earned a reward for her performance on the night. Her debut fight was in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters earning the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16 seconds to end her win streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
