Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart

Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress known for her roles in a variety of genres in film television and theater. Her achievements include a Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award, and many others. Anne Celeste Heche (May 25 1969 - August 11 2022) was an American actress. She first gained recognition for her roles as Vicky Hudson, and Marley Love from the soap opera Another World (from 1987-1991), she won two Soap Opera Digest Awards. The latter part of the 1990s saw her gain prominence due to her roles in the crime-drama films Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the horror film I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer as well as the comedy about politics Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June 6, 1953) is an American actor from America. She is best known for playing the role of Lieutenant Sheba, in the 1978-1979 TV series Battlestar Galactica. Lockhart is the daughter of the actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart's career started when she was a child. In the age of four, Lockhart appeared in the film T is for Tumbleweed. Oscar nominations were given to the film's short documentary. Her mother invited her to a film studio, where she was taught about how the film industry worked. Lockhart has also been featured in many shows of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first film. The Sixth Sense starred her as the Joan Crawford daughter at age 18. Joan acted in this episode in her final appearance. Anne turned down the part of Laurie Strode that she was offered in John Carpenter's Halloween 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later played the part. Carpenter states that the actress turned down his offer to play Laurie Strode. Anne doesn't remember John Carpenter contacting her or suggesting the role. Her agent might have turned down the opportunity on her behalf and without her knowledge. The initial decision was by Glen Larson who sent her a very preliminary script for a role in the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. She originally rejected the position due to the fact that she thought her character was weak. Glen then wrote a script for her which starred the strong character Sheba. She embraced the Living Legend's script after having read its first 25 pages. It lasted for just one season. Co-starring in Joyride with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
