Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (born Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn) is an American actor who works in television, film as well as theater. A gifted thespian she has been performing professionally for over the past 27 years. Recently, she was the character Dr. Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.

Lexis was raised in a family that played golf and would have plenty of knowledge playing the game. In 2007, she became the youngest golfer who qualified for US Women's Open. She didn't win the event, but she was able to win the Aldila Junior Classic in the following year, making her the second. she the most youthful American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) player to win the title as well as winning the Westfield Junior PGA Championship as the youngest player to do so at the time.
