Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota, journalist, author, anchor of CNN's morning show "New Day," and Westport, CT resident, is elected to the board of trustees for Westport Country Playhouse. Camerota's 30 years of journalistic experience have included news across the nation and in other countries. She has been awarded an Edward R. Murrow Award, as well as an Emmy Award. Johnna G. Torsone from Stamford is now an honorary board participant after being on the board since seven consecutive years. Anna Czekaj Farber, who serves as the current chair of the Westport board, having been in the board since 2013, is the new board member. Czekaj Farber will replace Barbara Streicker, a Westport resident who has served as the board's chairperson since October 2015. Her term continues on the board, which began in 2006.
