
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress and film actor. She was born on January 31, 1937 until January 19th, 2008. 1 Pleshette began her career in the theatre and began appearing in films towards the end of the 1950s. She later was featured in films of note such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). From 1972 to 1978, Pleshette was an recurring guest on various television productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January 1937. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer, and choreographer, who appeared on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager at both the Paramount Theater and Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
