Her first big break came after several appearances on television series when she was selected for the romantic comedy "Much Ado About Nothing" in 1993. Beckinsale has appeared in numerous films, including "Emma" (1996), "Pearl Harbor" (2001) and "Underworld" (2003), which also produced five additional movies. Beckinsale was also in "Total Recall" (2012), alongside Jessica Biel & Colin Farrel. Her efforts have also earned her many prestigious awards, including "Best Actress" at the Sitges Catalan International Film Festival and the Evening Standard British Film Awards. Beckinsale was also honored with the National Film Awards U.K.
